Who these terms are between
Rubuz One is a developer platform made and run by Rubuz LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It is sold by hosting providers to their own VPS customers.
These terms are between Rubuz LLC and you, the customer who uses the Rubuz One console. By signing in to the console or using one.rubuz.com, you agree to them.
How Rubuz One is sold
- Hosting providers: a hosting provider buys Rubuz One from Rubuz LLC at a wholesale price, under a written agreement with us.
- Your provider: sets the price you pay, sells Rubuz One to you, and bills you for it. Questions about your price, invoices or refunds go to your provider.
- Rubuz LLC: provides and runs the Rubuz One console and the service behind it.
The service
Rubuz One manages the VPSs you connect, on your instruction, over SSH: deploying your apps, running databases, installing apps from the catalog, issuing SSL certificates, running backups and monitoring resources. Your servers, and the applications and data on them, remain yours.
Your account
You sign in to the console on a subdomain of your provider’s own domain. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done in your account, including by people you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your servers
A Rubuz One account can add only VPSs from the hosting provider that sold it. By connecting a server, you confirm that you are entitled to give Rubuz One access to it. Your provider’s own terms apply to the servers themselves, and you remain responsible for the software and content you run on them.
You can withdraw Rubuz One’s access to a server at any time by removing it from the console or by deleting Rubuz One’s key from the server.
When your plan ends
If your Rubuz One plan ends, because you stop paying your provider or because your provider stops selling Rubuz One, your account is locked. Apps already running on your servers keep running, because nothing of Rubuz One is installed on them.
Acceptable use
You may not use Rubuz One to connect servers you are not authorized to manage, to run software that is unlawful or that harms others, or to interfere with the service, your provider or other customers.
Intellectual property
Rubuz One, its console and its materials are protected by copyright and trademark law and belong to Rubuz LLC. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell the service. Only hosting providers with an agreement with Rubuz LLC may sell it.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Rubuz LLC is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Your servers run on your provider’s infrastructure, and Rubuz LLC is not responsible for your provider’s downtime, data loss on your servers, or configuration and security issues outside the Rubuz One service. Keep backups configured for anything you cannot afford to lose.
Termination
You can stop using Rubuz One at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. When an account is closed, Rubuz One’s access to its servers ends and the apps on them keep running.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we tell account owners by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rubuz LLC operates.
